The Pesce Network is a growing franchise network operating 60+ Dunkin’ and Jimmy John’s locations across Massachusetts. Our team is committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction. We are seeking a Food Safety & Restaurant Operations Inspector to help ensure that all locations consistently meet Dunkin’ Brand Standards, health regulations, and internal operational expectations.


This is a field-based position requiring regular travel to stores throughout the region.


Position Summary

The Food Safety & Operations Inspector is responsible for conducting routine inspections of franchise locations to evaluate compliance with food safety, sanitation, and operational standards. This role supports both the operations and training teams by identifying areas of opportunity and ensuring each restaurant is guest-ready at all times. The Inspector will also be responsible for completing Restaurant Operations Reviews (RORs) for each location, in line with Dunkin’ Brand and company standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular, detailed inspections of all franchise locations to assess compliance with:
  • Food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe, health department regulations)
  • Dunkin’ Brand Standards and operational procedures
  • Cleanliness, product quality, and equipment maintenance
  • Complete Restaurant Operations Reviews (RORs) for all assigned locations on a consistent schedule. Expected to complete all 60 stores per month.
  • Document inspection results and provide reports.
  • Monitor product handling, storage, and temperature control procedures.
  • Verify that crew members and managers are following handwashing, PPE, and hygiene protocols.
  • Communicate findings clearly and professionally through reports.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in restaurant operations, food safety, or quality assurance (multi-unit experience preferred).
  • ServSafe Certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and brand compliance requirements.
  • Experience completing RORs or similar brand-standard inspections preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly across multiple restaurant locations (valid driver’s license required).
  • Detail-oriented and able to enforce standards consistently and professionally.
  • Familiarity with Dunkin’ operations or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) environments is a plus.
