Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients and represent our company during deliveries. The Delivery Driver will also assist with loading and unloading items, ensuring that all products are handled with care.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Ensure that all deliveries are made on time while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and any discrepancies.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience in warehouse settings is beneficial, particularly in loading and unloading tasks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
